How we evaluate eco products
- Material safety: we prefer glass, stainless steel, food-grade silicone, organic cotton and FSC-certified bamboo over soft plastics in food/skin contact.
- Durability: products must hold up to at least 12 weeks of real-home testing.
- Refillability + repairability: bonus points for replaceable parts and refill systems.
- Plastic content: we disclose plastic % honestly when it’s present.
- Honest claims: we exclude brands using vague eco labels without verifiable evidence.
